£450 Budget Gaming PC Build

I've always wanted to get the best performance for the lowest cost possible when building a PC. So here is my build for a budget gaming PC for around £450.

CPU:

Intel Core i3-6300 3.8GHz Dual-Core Processor
£125.47

The Intel i3-6300 is a fantastic processor for gaming as well as everyday tasks. It's lower TPU usage (47W) means less heat output and lower electricity usage It also features their improved built-in graphics which is good, but we wont be using it in this build.

MotherBoard:

£65.61
The MSI H110M Pro-VD Micro ATX LGA1151 Motherboard features 2x DIMM Dual DDR4, 4x SATA 6Gb/s, VGA/DVI-D, USB 3.1/USB 2.0, Gigabit LAN. This is a fairly basic board but still brings great performance on a budget.

Memory:

£37.94
Simple, fast, and good RAM and looks good with pretty much anything.

Video Card:

£138.70

The GTX 950 SC is a great purchase for anyone building a gaming PC on a budget. Delivers an overall great performance for games at high quality.

Storage:

£18.95

In order to this build on budget I went for a cheap 320GB Western Digital Caviar Blue Hard Drive. Although if you can stretch your budget I would look into getting at least a 500GB version or even a SSD if you want top notch performance.

Case:

£18.95

This case is very durable and is great value for money. The internal arrangement is a bit unusual but they've done a good job of making sure that you can fit large graphics cards and other components in, whereas these might obstruct drive bays and other mounting in standard micro ATX cases. The N200 not only supports 120mm radiators at the back, but is the first mini tower that supports installing 120mm or even 240mm radiators in the front of the case! Thanks to an all mesh front panel, 2 high quality Cooler Master XtraFlo fans and large air vents, it boasts excellent cooling performance. Despite its extremely compact size, the N200 supports 160mm tall CPU tower coolers, long high end VGAs and four 2.5" SSDs and three of 3.5" HDDs.

Power Supply:

£31.79
The XFX TS Series 430W Full Wired PSU is an 80 Plus Bronze certified PSU that combines great performance, innovative design, and the high quality required by hardcore gamers and DIY enthusiasts. Advanced EasyRail technology allows you to run power-hungry components, such as a CPU and GPU, without worrying about individual rail limits.

Conclusion:

Overall this build will allow you to have your graphics settings on high to ultra with around 60fps. This is also a excellent build for all-round usage like Photoshop or premier.
